The above PDF shows where the two candidates stand with regards to women. As we get closer to the election, my hope is that women across the United States truly look at the positions of each of the candidates for President and Vice President and DO NOT vote based upon who is "more likeable" ie "more like me."

We have before us some very serious issues: we are now participating in two wars; we have an energy crisis with many different options before us; we have a mortgage crisis, a credit crisis and housing crisis,; we have citizens who have never had healthcare and those who have lost healthcare due to catastrophic illness; jobs have been going overseas and key cities have become like ghost towns due to the loss of industry; we have a private school system that is bailing out on the public school and causing a two-tier education system for the "haves" and "have not's"...And, that is just the short list.

We, as women, must encourage more women to enter politics to be present at the tables where decisions are made that effect our lives greatly.

I would encourage you to register to vote, and to get others registered in your city. Post a link to www.rockthevote.com on your website or blog, to encourage others to register online. We must stop telling other people what to think, and encourage them TO THINK and ASSESS all the facts before them to make the right and proper decision for our country.
